Thank you for your comments and concerns.

We were excited to find Full Spectrum Compact Fluorescent bulbs and are hoping to soon find some that are dimmable. The Global Cooling Compact Fluorescent bulbs all produce Natural Spectrum daylight (yes that includes the indoor and outdoor floods). These products priced in accordance to the manufacturer's Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) Policy which we must adhere to as an authorized retailer.

I agree that fluorescent lights can sometimes be bright on the eyes. Having just switched from soft white incandescent bulbs to these bulbs at my home, I will admit they seemed very bright at first. However, these fluorescents differ quite a bit from your normal fluorescent bulbs because they produce Natural Spectrum Daylight. Natural Spectrum light allows our eyes to see greater contrast and true colors with less effort to reduce eyestrain and fatigue. These bulbs also use flicker free, no-buzz technology and help reduce glare which are all common annoyances of fluorescent bulbs.

We've been using spirals in our house for many years and swear by them. Haven't tried this particular brand but we're VERY GLAD someone FINALLY makes a full-spectrum spiral :)!

Are the flood light (indoor and outdoor) versions also full-spectrum? They seem a bit expensive at $30 per bulb :(. Why so expensive?

Thank you!

Be careful with flourescent lights if you have any people in your house that get migraines. My daughter cannot stand to be under the flourescent bulbs so I will not use them at all.
